Working Principle
The tubular pasteurizer transfers heat between hot and cold fluids inside a tubular heat exchanger to achieve product heating and cooling. A typical process flow includes:
1. Preheating – Product is preheated by recovering heat from the sterilized liquid.
2. Heating – Heated by steam or hot water to the set temperature (72–137°C).
3. Holding – Product is held in the holding tube for 15–30 seconds to ensure sterilization.
4. Cooling – Product is cooled gradually in the regeneration and cooling sections to 4–25°C.
5. Discharge – Sterilized liquid enters an aseptic tank or filling system.
